Chocolate Chip    Skillet Cookie

A Thanksgiving-worthy cookie!

What kind of cookie is worthy of being served for Thanksgiving dessert? One that's as big as a pie! The highest praise came from my youngest son who said that he liked it more than pumpkin pie AND more than the restaurant version we've had (he even suggested I contact the restaurant to give them this recipe). So, if you're looking for an easy, impressive, quick cookie dessert, give this one a try!

Frosted Sugar Cookies

The first frosted sugar cookie I remember tasting was a pretty, pink heart at my kindergarten Valetine's day party. I never had another that tasted as good until I found this recipe. Try this easy, delicious recipe for a cookie that's not only great for Christmas, but also any other holiday or special occasion.

Eskimo Cookies

A tasty cookie that doesn't require an oven! One recipe I have calls this a "health cookie!" You can make these gluten free--and even vegan if you substitute coconut oil for butter. They're very quick to make, and they disappear almost as quickly! A cross between a cookie and a candy, they're great for chocolate lovers.

Snowball Cookies

Growing up, both of my grandmas made these cookies. One called them Snowballs, the other called the Russian Teacakes. In my best friend's family, they were Mexican Wedding Cookies. Many cultures around the world have a version of this light, buttery, nutty cookie.

Puto Seko

This crisp cookie from the Philippines is made with corn start instead of flour.
